Solarium Tanning

Are you after a gorgeous flawless year round tan? Our solarium is for you!

In your first visit to Chevron Island Tan we conduct a skin assessment for your first solarium appointment so we can create a program that best suits your goals and your skin's needs. We can provide you with either Stand Up Tanning or Lie Down Sessions. Our Solarium beds are of high quality and are European made.

When first tanning in our solariums it is recommended that you try to be committed for the first few weeks to build up the condition of your skin and tan. We recommend that you come 3 times a week for the first two weeks, and then twice a week after that until you get the tan you are happy with. After this you only need to come in once a week to maintain your tan. We don’t recommend that you use the solarium every day, and should have a good day’s rest before using the solarium again as your skin needs time to produce more melanin.

We will advise you on the amount of time to spend in our solariums, but generally, Stand Up Solarium time allocation is 8 minutes and Lay Down beds are 10 minutes. However, this will depend on the outcome of your assessment.

A tanner accelerator will assist in maintaining your colour longer and keep your skin moisturised and in top notch condition. We offer a range of lotions from beginner to advanced and will give you a recommendation for the lotion that would best suit you.
